In the shadow of the Feral Spire, two more different forces stalked each other through the mountainous wastes. Marching in lock-step, the Ossiarch Bonereapers, under the command of Boneshaper Illyriac, filled into the surrounding valleys in good order. Against them racing around the slopes, the hordes of Orruk Bonesplitta boar riders following the maddening chants of the Wargog Prophet Bonesaw. Dancing around the recently assembled Rogue Idol, the Bonesplittaz paid little heed to the advancing skeletal constructs.
Charging the distracted Bonesplittaz, the Ossiarchs sent forward their most powerful constructs – Morghasts to lay low the Orruk's labour. Slicing through the stone with their nadirite weapons, the green animating light glowing from within the rocks dimmed as the boulders tumbled to the ground. Then, as the stones fell, the Orruks went silent only to hear the dull chanting from Bonesaw. Suddenly a huge blast of green energy shot from the Wargog's eyes, and the Morghasts were reduced to dust.
At the proof of Gorkamorkas might, the Bonesplittaz let out a mighty waagh and raced towards the Bonereapers. The mass of Maniacs smashed through the walls of Necropolis Stalkers and other Bonereapers. But in the confusion of the Orrurk's attack, Bonesaw was slain by the Ossiarchs. Ultimately the overwhelming mass of boar and Orruk routed the forces of Nagash, leaving the Feral Spire in their control.
