Watchers in Death Gem Generator

The following tool is for randomly generating gems for upgrades in your own Watchers in Death campaign.

Each model is limited to two gems per Weapon, two gems for Armour, two gems for Shields, and one Jewelery gem.  Once a gem is equipped it cannot be removed without being destroyed.


Rare Red Gem

...of Armour Piercing (Weapon): +1 to Rend (i.e. 0 becomes -1, -1 becomes -2, etc.)


Common Yellow Gem

...of Deflection (Armour): +1 save against Ranged attacks. This does not stack with cover, and cannot bring the saving throw to a 2+.


Rare White Gem

...of Chaotic Essence (Jewelery): Once per battle, at the start of your hero phase, the bearer may activate this gem. If they do so roll a dice. On a 1 they suffer d3 mortal wounds. On a 2+ they can add 1 to hit and wound rolls until their next Hero Phase.


Common Black Gem

...of Staggering (Weapon): Successful wounds stagger the target. Staggered targets suffer -1 to hit rolls for the rest of the phase.

...of Lesser Mirroring (Shield): Roll a dice each time you allocate a mortal wound to the bearer. On a 5+ the wound is negated. On a 6+ you can also pick an enemy unit within 6" of the bearer. That unit suffers 1 mortal wound.

...of Knowledge (Jewelery): Each time you spend a Command Point roll a dice. On a 5+ gain another Command Point.

...of Health (Armour): +1 Wound


Uncommon White Gem

...of Healing (Jewelery): Once per battle, in your hero phase, the bearer can draw out the power from this gem. Regain d6 wounds lost earlier in the battle.
