Dashing between the twisted willow boughs, the lithe Daughters of Khaine advanced towards the Dusksilver Delta. Slaughterqueen Iathia had received word of the hated servants of Nagash having been seen erecting a monument to the hated king of death. Using the mists as cover, they found their quarry in the mist-covered shore of the rivers – the Ossiarch Bonereapers.
The Boneshaper Eximandis ordered the phalanx and constructs of the deathless legions forward to protect the Bone-Tithe Nexus from any oncoming attack by the witless mortals. Seeing the lightning-fast Aelves surrounding their position, Eximandis brought the shield wall closer in to ward off any flanking manoeuvre. The close order of the Bonereapers was broken when the witches of the Daughters used foul blood magic to erupt a great serpent out of the waters and through the lines of the Ossiarchs.
The Bloodwrack Viper smashed through Morghasts and Necropolis Stalkers as if they were little more than dust before coiling around the Nexus itself and smashing the obelisk to ruin. In their slaughter-filled madness, the Daughters raced forward with their Cauldron of Blood, but in an act of spite at the ruination of Nagash's great work, Eximandis deconstructed the blasphemous shrine and unmade its protectors. Eventually, being cut down along with the rest of the Ossiarchs, the Delta was filled with the blood celebrations of the Daughters of Khaine for many days to come.
