Clawmark Forest will forever be changed by the battle between Maggotkin and Ogor during the War for the Lost City. The Ogors, under the command of Tyrant Ghark Stormgut, had made their way into the forest on rumours of ferocious but very delicious beasts within its trunks. When their scouts arrived, they found a festering mire and the chuckling mirth makers led by the bloated Bulboth the Gleeful.
The Maggotkin moved to block the Ogors' exploration of the forest, revealing how far their rot had spread into the roots and leaves of almost every tree for miles. The Ogors quickly found themselves bogged down by rotting wood and leaves. The Nurgle worshipers began to make headway, but for each bull that was slain, another Blightking was brought low, and the carnage was almost total.
As it seemed that the Ogors had finally made a breach in the Maggotkin lines and were beginning to withdraw from the forest, Bulboth saw an opportunity. Seeing the Butcher Gobpot casting rituals to aid his fellow Ogors, but was isolated from the wider forces. Then, breaking into a sprint, he raced across the field to come face to face with Gobpot and smashed him down into the mulch below. With that act, the Ogors also withdrew to the forest's edge; neither side took the day, but the devastation wrought upon the Forest would last lifetimes.
