Quirk, I don't think vehicle benefits from chapter tactics.

The only vehicles that benefit are dreadnoughts. Moreover, on youtube someone tried to calculate the Ynnari army list and came up with more than 2200 points. Quirk, did you check the guest's list, or at least skimmed through it?
Btw, probably corrected some time later in the video but an unharmed Pred having moved hits on 4s (hvyWeapon).

I would be interested in your reasoning for choosing that deployment zone and setting up so close to the enemy with a shooty army against fly units, especially the short range Ynnari lists.

Love u man but, as an SM player, the pred mistake felt like a kick to the Emperor's sword.

Yea, following his list exactly it fall at 2252.
Quite the oversight!

Following exactly what he said in the intro where he went over his armies I worked it out at 1998 points

I was in the mood and thought, here is as good as any to post this feedback of why I like my favorite MWG guys (totally subjective view:

Quirk:
because everyone hates math but math only hates him
the only MWG member I have ever seen meditating naked
the only person alive who, playing a pure 2k points list of Terminators, would get tabled turn 1

Steve:
because he plays DarkAngels without being ashamed #DarkAngelsBelongToChaos
because he plays efficiently with powerful but toned down lists
because I can learn a lot from him

Luka:
because he plays Necrons
because he also plays DeathGuard and thus has an unhealthy relationship to the dead and dying
can lose with dignity and is eager to prove it, tries to meet viewers wishes for different lists and presents the games from his own relatable - often desperate - point of view

Matt:
because he is totally awesome concerning rules knowledge and application
because most of his campaign ideas, including free campaign rules, are awesome
because of the way he rolls a single die in his hand while he is explaining something, like the cheap replacement of an off-camera Bond movie villain

Josh: (who has grown to be my favorite creator)
because he plays niche factions with high efficiency
because he has 7 plush toys of Belisarius Cawl hidden around his house and, when his car doesn%u2019t start immediately, he whispers to the machine spirit, %u201Crrrrrrerolling%u201D
because he often mentions why he is doing this or that, showing subtleties of the game
because his reactions are subtle yet engaging, especially when he rolls quirkesque results
because his batreps are so concise
because he often answers posts
because I hope that he will try out a new, bigger faction and show off his skills with a bigger variety of units available to him

I built the ynnari list on BattleScribe, Ended up on 2072, still over but nowhere near 2200. dont think I missed anything either. hopefully its an oversight on the guests part aswell and not deliberate cheating

Everything you said +;
Quirk the way he becomes emotionally connected to what is happening (it feels like a game with the friend)
Josh; for the 30k content (Your Night Lord games are immense!)
Steve; for the encyclopedic knowledge of the game, but without the index to find it as soon as he picks up a camera

I think you guys are way too lax with the Wobbly Model Syndrome rule. I'm pretty sure that the model has to actually be able to be legally placed, but if it cannot stand without falling over (such as on a slant or uneven debris), you set it as close as possible and just keep track of its real position. When the Wave Serpent assaulted the Assassin on the pillar, you used WMS to allow it to happen, but there was no way for that model to be legally placed to begin with, meaning that it could not successfully make that charge.

IMO using preds that are a different colour would have been better than using razorbacks as preds

AATSKNF. You missed that I believe when rolling for morale checks on your two tactical squads.

The wave serpent charging the assassin was absoloutly bullshit.

proxy models, ton of rules wrong.. stopped watching 20mins in

As someone said, it was a 1 sided BR, Eldar are too overpowered with that soulburst rule.

Doesn't make entertaining viewing if I'm honest. I just felt sorry for Q!

Saibo (7 days ago): - delete
Boring one sided game. Ton of mistakes, and crappy SM list

I wish all vehicles received chapter tactics. It really is a shame they do not though.

FlipmodeSH (8 days ago): - delete
A couple of non-flying vehicles are OK. Having 6 against an army that will get right in your face is madness. You didn't have the points to bubblewrap that many or a 2nd force to split their charge. Eldar hate bolters and chainswords. Bring more.

Good to see an index army holding up, but a bit worrying if those saying he was 10% over on points are right!

The General (8 days ago): - delete
Wave serpents always reduce damage by 1, you don't have to roll for that...

I believe the FAQ states you completely resolve everything such as a wave serpent exploding and units disembarking before you soulburst

Page 76 %u2013 Strength from Death
Change the last sentence of the first paragraph to read:
%u2018That unit can immediately do one of the following,
even if it has already done so in this turn (if the unit
was destroyed as the result of a unit%u2019s action %u2013 e.g.
making a shooting attack or fighting %u2013 the Soulburst
action is resolved after the unit has completely resolved
its current action, e.g. after it has completed all of
its shooting attacks or after it has finished fighting,
including making any consolidation moves):%u2019
