A billowing mist gathered in the Dusksilver Delta outside the great city of Mirage Haven. From its battlements the watch could see in the distance that shambling shapes were beginning to gather in the shadows, and with a great blast of the warning horn the Stormcast Eternals within the city were summoned. They marched down into the Delta and soon discovered there was far more going on in the mud flats than a simple rogue necromancer, blocking out the moon above the enormous, ripped wings of a Zombie Dragon descended towards the gold-clad warriors.
Nitravar the Everliving swept into the marshy ground ordering the assembled undead to advance on the Stormcast. Quickly they formed a defensive wall as it became clear that they were totally surrounded by the massed skeletons and zombies of the Soulblight Gravelords. Within moments flashes of lightning filled the lowlands, as the Stormcast began systematically smashing the undead to pieces.
The undead began to move past the Stormcast along the road back to Mirage Haven and was clearly intent on cutting off the forces of Order from the city. In a desperate act, Annihilators descended from Azyr blasting apart dozens of skeletons, only to find that there were more to replace them, they had been outflanked. In a final act of ruthless cunning, Nitravar saw a crucial break point in the golden line, a unit of Vindicators holding firm, the vampire sored down crushing the eternal bodies into the mud. When a countercharge of Prosecutors attempted to put the now exposed Vampire Lord down they found their weapons cut into the zombie dragon's flanks only to realise it had made no difference. With a rasping screech, Nitravar’s undead had outmanoeuvred the Stormcast, but the fight had taken a toll on many of his cursed servants.
