A chill wind whistled through the depths of the Ironhorn Mountains, the pass so oft fought for in this ceaseless war. Hunting from their frozen hideout the Bonesplittaz were aware of any who came near the entrances to the Mountains. Their lookouts heard the droning of the approaching warband and its bloatflies – led by the mighty Great Unclean One Festablax Vilethrob. A huge column of Nurgle worshipers, mortal and Daemon alike marched into the mouth of the cave, unbeknownst that it was filled with the ferocious Bonesplittaz led by the Prophet Wyrd Yok.
Festablax and his Maggotkin anticipated there would be Orruks beneath the mountain and decided to boldly march forward only to be met immediately by a Moarboy charge. A huge herd of boar-riding Orruks sprinted out from the inner caves into the Blightking Infantry beginning to form a line. Nearby filled with the magic of Gorkamorka what seemed to be a pile of discarded waste rose from its slumber and joined the Orruks in taking the fight to Nurgle. The Maggotkin held this initial assault and charged back slaughtering the Orruks, and the rockblight of the Great Unclean One causing the Rogue Idol to once again become inert. But this was all before Wyrd Yok began to murmur and shake…
Drawing the power of Gorkamorka directly to him, and the surrounding Waagh energy of the Orruks, Yok began to summon great blasts of green energy at the oncoming forces of Nurgle. In quick success the Waagh-crazed shaman discorporated Festablax, much to the Daemon’s surprise, and obliterated many Blightkings and Blightlords. The rush of Waagh energy broke the Maggotkin forces, and though Festablax was now back in the realm of Chaos he was already retelling the favours and failures of the mortal warlord Rustwake… Who had summoned him to distract from his activities. Once Yok had returned to his usual levels of shaking there were but a few other Orruks standing but there were no Maggotkin, the pass for now was still held by Destruction and perhaps they would strike out soon at the foul lair of the Daemon-thing Petunia…
