Result: Major Victory for Maggotkin

Summary

Wandering through the Ghurish mountains Torshmal nursed Petunia back to unhealth, feeding her several villages the Maggotkin came across. One such village sat below a frozen mountain, the castle of Talon’s Perch. Suddenly the vision came back to Torshmal, now clearer than before and the Nurgle Lord knew this was the Ghurish keep which contained the promised treasures. As he came back to consciousness war drums could be heard in the distance. The drums and chants of the Bonesplittaz.

         The Bonesplittaz had risen a mighty Idol of Gorkamorka with which they could smash the gates of the citadel with, but now it would first be turned towards the Maggotkin and Petunia. Around the flanks of the castle, the boars of the Bonesplittaz began to pick up speed towards the ranks of Blightkings. The freezing cold caused even the usually frenzied mounts of the Orruks to shiver. But the power of Gorkamorka flowed through the Orruks themselves and they paid no heed to the rapidly dropping temperatures. The Maggotkin line girdled itself for the oncoming horde their decaying bodies unaffected by the cold around them.

         The first boar smashed into the Blightking and it made no impact, the Orruks realising too late that the Nurgle line would not break and was systematically cut down. The servants of Nurgle tore down the Idol of Gorkamorka and Petunia devoured dozens of Orruks as the failed charge began to cause disarray. It took many hours but eventually, the deed was done and Torshmal led Petunia triumphantly into Talon’s Perch, and the secrets held within the Stormvault below. Nurgle’s vision had come true and chaos would reign supreme over Ghur in the seasons to come…
