There also isn't much difference between the 2. I built a 75 power level army and it was 1490 points

I find it works best with open play games. There rougher so they complement each other better.

It's my favourite way to play.

Lets people kit out their squads in cool stuff without the worry of having "wasted points".

The Open War cards can create such amazing games. Looking forward to more of these and other alternative ways to play. Excellent idea!

Actually I like power level. Especially for when used exactly like this. A fun, narrative, open friendly game.

Well done Matt, I myself mostly play power levels with open play cards for the narrative aspect. I really loved this game and your play style to encourage the kid. Keep up the good work as usual!

I loved this opponent he was fantastic. He new his rules almost as well as Matt, definately on a par with Dave and Steve. As someone else said he is also a stratagem genius! I think more opponents should leap up and down with their hands in the air when they roll awesome. best Batrep I've watched in quite some time!

Great Bat Rep. My son (12 years old) who is just starting to play 40K loved seeing a kid on the channel. Awesome to see such a fun report. My buddies and I use those cards for matched play too; they are fun

If range isn't affected, then would weapons that don't require LOS like the Whirlwind's missile launchers be affected by dead of night?

Matt I really enjoy the Open War cards and would enjoy seeing more of them in battle reports, the combos can be very exciting.

Also that kid is a strategic genius, he knows all the strategies!

Love the new intro so much! Also this was one of my favorite batreps in a while - open play cards plus power level makes for such a fun, easy-going, wild game.

i dont know what the child labour laws are in Canadia but Jameson needs to get hired. one of the bestest battle reports ever. Feel more learned about Ultramarines now.

Is anyone else having trouble with their vault videos? I'm logged in, but I continually get the "this video is for vault members only" notification, so I can't watch them. My account is current.....

Cheers!

More open war batreps!!

99arcturus (11 days ago): - delete
I do not thank that you should have to pay points for summoning/spawned units their should be another limiting mechanic (like at no point in the game can you have more units or points than you began the game with)
