Deep into the earth, the Ironvein mines twist and wind; hundreds of years of mining and thousands of different shafts have created a twisted landscape. Filled with vast amounts of discarded mining equipment, as well as the dozens of settlements set up to delve its veins, the entire region is now covered in a layer of rust from the waste of aeons. So bad in some places is it that the rust has accrued a sense of self, and Rustbeasts now stalk the ruined hills. Explorers who seek out any buried treasures in the mines find their metalware quickly joining the surroundings and rusting into jagged slag. But beneath all this rust, there are still wonders to uncover, so there will always be those who brave its rusted miasma.


Rules

Rusty Terrain — When a unit finishes any type of movement within 1" of a terrain feature, roll a d6. On a 1 that unit suffers d3 mortal wounds. Death units, and Nurgle units ignore this rule. Buried Treasures {p/w} Whoever controls this territory gains a free artefact enhancement.
