Atop the roaring peaks of Ghur lies the abandoned Dreadmaw Bastion, a freezing blizzard howling around its heights. After the victory along the Gilded Way Torshmal the Lord of Afflictions was granted visions of the great magical locus that was the fortress in Ghur, turning Petunia away from her befoulment of the forests of Chamon towards the Realm of Beasts. At the same time as the forces of Nurgle were marching towards the Dreadmaw, another very different gathering was happening under the shadow of that benighted peak.
Buhmok is by all Trogg accounts a certified genius, always finding the best whatnots and shiny bits and it is that which drew his Megamob towards the caves beneath the mountain – sifting through discarded treasures and texts and sniffing each for any hint of magic that Buhmok would adorn itself with. It was as this rummaging was ongoing that Petunia and Torshmal burst through the treasure room door to find it filled with Troggs. As her bulk smashed the keep's walls further open masonry and rock collapsed around and a hole opened up to the night sky beyond. The snow fell through the gap and it was clear the storm still raged and yet an eerie yellow moonlight spilled into the cavern.
The Blightkings herded their Ghurish servants ahead towards the Troggs. One particularly corrupted Chimaera the servants of Nurgle named Snowball was led towards the Buhmok, who promptly caved the creature's skull in with a stalagmite. The Nurgle forces struck down so many of the Troggs but that yellowy light continued to resurrect them no matter how virulent the contagions of the Maggotkin were. Eventually, the Troggs injured Petunia so much Torshmal withdrew his forces – perhaps it was not the Dreadmaw Bastion that contained the promised treasure. Meanwhile, the goblins which lurk in the shadows of a Megamob waited until Buhmok moved on, and then seized the fortress for Destruction.
