In the realm, Azyr Knight Arcanum Orarius informed the assembled Stormcast Eternals that the bloodsteel refinery in the Cinderfields must be cast down. The assembled Stormhost gave a cheer before sharp white blasts of Azyr lightning ripped up the gilded warriors and cast them down onto the smouldering surface of the realm of Aqshy. Roaring out from the cascading bolts, Orarius atop the stormdrake Fyrioth blazed down on the startled Khornite warriors.
Anarchy erupted and the taskmasters of the Khornite encampment drove their workers into the oncoming wall of metal and lightning. Krashnaghuul the Khornite Lord hacked down any who attempted to flee, but it was quickly apparent the drakes and hammers of the Stormcast would not be stopped by hordes of chained labourers. Around he could hear the raising voices of the assembled Slaughterpriests but no rain of blood or some other claim of Khorne’s favour showed.
As Orarius charged forth ignoring the many strikes against both drake and rider. Eventually engaging with a monstrous Khorgorath but it was Krashnaghuul’s axe that finally sent the Stormcast back to Azyr, and only when it was clear that the day was lost. Even the final arrival of a Bloodthirster did not tip the balance and the refinery in the Cinderfields was swept away and a fortress of Order quickly raised in its place.
