The pledge manager has launched, but what does that mean? Let's get into it!
Wave 1 Shipping
Now is the time for all backers (campaign and late pledge) to go in, enter their shipping info (if they haven't already) and pay for Wave 1 shipping. Wave 2 shipping will be charged closer to when it ships next year (we'll re-open the pledge manager for that).
Shipping is based on the number of "big boxes" (War Packs / Battle Packs) you have, with the smaller (elite/squad) packs counting as 1/4 of a big box. Gamefound has a new feature that allows us to set a minimum shipping amount, which we've set at $20. This is only relevant if your order only has addons.
Heirs of Empires Freebie
If you backed during the campaign, now is the time to get your free Heirs of Empires Elite Pack. You just need to scroll down to add-ons and add the $0 version to your cart. The $0 version should only be visible to backers who both backed during the campaign and selected one of the pledges.
Strahk Temple Terrain/Dicetower STL
The invites to get your free Strahk Temple Terrain/Dicetower will go out today (if they haven't already). You will receive an email from MyMiniFactory with instructions on how to redeem it. Our original plan was to fulfill the STLs and then also run a pool to gauge interest for selling a physical (ABS) version of the terrain, but after getting the quote we realized it's going to be a little too expensive to produce for the moment.
New Add-Ons
We've added some new add-ons for you to sink your teeth into, and all but one of them will be fulfilled as part of Wave 1! Let's start with the Limited Edition miniatures. We plan on selling these customizable minis at conventions, etc, but we thought it would be appropriate if backers got first dibs. Each mini will come unassembled and be customizable to allow you to pick the look that suits you best. Each mini will be fully playable, with their cards included in their faction's unit card pack:
Deluxe Rulebook: Catalysts of War
The 300+ page Catalysts of War deluxe rulebook will have the standard rules of the Ravaged Star tabletop game but will also be filled with lore, illustrations and painted miniatures. Due to how much we want to cram into this book, it will ship with Wave 2.
Premium Activation Token Pack
By popular demand, we are adding a premium option for activation tokens. These hefty, poker-chip style tokens will come in two, faction agnostic colors, with enough tokens of each type for each side to play a range of game sizes.
Wave 1 & 2 Changes and List
We've moved the Immari and Gorkog Unit Card Packs to Wave 2. The Battle Packs already include the unit cards for their respective units, so there's not much lost and the extra wait will make sure we have more time to balance the War Pack miniatures, etc., for those factions.
