Cool Creative things to do with your Army.
I enjoy modelling so much that I have taken it a few steps further. How often have you, as a player, taken a magic item and totally forgotten you had it? And you realised, had you use it, there was a chance that things could have turned in your favour.
This is what I used for the previous edition of Orcs and Goblins. Some may still be useful, the rest can be used as objectives in games so it's no big loss.
I will post build pics where I have them.
If I can find my books I'll write the names down properly.
Using random bits, some of them spliced together, on a small round base, will give you what you need to make a characterful reminder of the spells you have. If necessary you put your magic items with your spell dice for each shaman or mage that you use. You can also have them tag along with the spell caster in question. My Ironback boar was a wonderful way of reminding myself that I have a kick-aft magic item that really can bring on the hurt. Just don't drop it on the foot.
Taking the extra time to go a little further could earn you points with your friends and judges.
Tape Measure. - Going the extra few feet.
Customised tape measure. They can't steal this and get away with it. It's marked with my army's skull and checker pattern. The scull is sculpted on with greenstuff.
Kiss my Axe.
My Axe I made for the 25th ani-contest. -Pink foam, cardboard, thumbtacks, foam core and foam wrap.

Axe on display at the local GW store (No longer in Burlington)
Model Display - useful for moving or photo opportunities.
Small display that also functions to carry your army around a tournament (not that I ever have been to a real tournament) This was created out of a chocolate display box from the super market. It is admittedly too small for my hoard army, but it functions well as a small Photo shoot display.

Unpainted. Pink foam, plaster, sand, popsicle sticks, stir sticks and plastic bits.

Painted. I should add some static grass to it one day. It's had bits fall off it over time, but it serves my purpose very well.
Magic Tokens and Items.
Physical reminders for those little magic moments.
