Dudes, the MiniWarGaming Store is back up and running, and it is the Forge. It's been many years since we've had a proper online store I can't tell you how nostalgic and happy this makes me feel. Grab your bases, paint them up, post them online, use hashtag #mwgbases and tag MWGForge, and MiniWarGaming so I can see them, especially the skull ones. I'm MiniWarGamer Dave and these are our bases.
============
All of these bases were designed in house, here, at MiniWarGaming, and are now available for purchase at the MiniWarGaming Forge. We have bases of all shapes and sizes as you can see here on this spinny platform thingy, which if I stare too long at it, I'll get mesmerized for at least 8 seconds. But just look at these, man, it makes me happy for so many reasons. Accursed Cultists - yeah, they were rebased too. We also offer the skull bases in 25mm. And as you can see here, there's a bunch of empty bases that need more World Eaters.
Whether you're rebasing old models or using these skull bases as an alternative to the default option you get in these model kits, it's undeniable that it saves time. Especially when you're using them in Vanguard or Spearhead Starter Sets or the entire Skaventide Launch Box, it's incredibly satisfying to have themed bases.
Oh, and I should mention, we don't just have skull bases, we have themes ranging from Cobblestone Ruins, Marble, or Scrappy, we've taken the liberty of using these custom bases on every model included in Skaventide. The amount of satisfaction I felt when I saw how this marble base looked on this Lord-Vigilant on Gryph-Stalker, which wouldn't be the same without these three Prosecutors angelically soaring across the battlefield which of course would be supported by these Liberators and you'll notice I put the ones without helmets on display here so that they could be contrasted by the ones with helmets here.
To round off the other miniatures included in Skaventide we have Knight-Questor making his way through this marble corridor accented by fallen statues, which can also be seen on the bases of these Liberators. And now zooming out to see what the entire army looks like, using these marble bases, and I don't know about you, but having an entire army with themed bases really helps to add that next level of immersion and satisfaction while fielding them on the tabletop.
Now we are talking about Skaventide, so it wouldn't be the same without rats. Each of which use Cobblestone Ruins for their bases. Take a look at this Clawlord on Gnaw-Beast, for some reason when you combine wood and stone on a base it tells a fun story. I mean, why are they fighting here? What does this Grey Seer see? As it declares prophetic ruin of the Great Horned Rat. Now of course it wouldn't be the same without his buddy, the Warlock Engineer. It's as if this guy drives the entire industry of all Skavendom. I wonder if they're obsessed with crafting ever more inventive weapons of death? I mean, dare I ask to see what he sees through his spy glass? What do you think he's looking for?
Ok, time to show off the full army and see what all the bases look like here. As you can see, multiple base sizes each contribute to the overall aesthetic, and it certainly helps that they're beautifully painted. Each base you see here is available in the MiniWarGaming Forge. It massively supports us and it provides a fantastic opportunity for you to enrich your hobby experience.
We've already prepared a couple bundles that match the base sizes of each mini included in the box set, in all of the themes available, and all the themes you can do, and this isn't all - if you collect miniatures from The Old World, we also have all of these options available in square bases.
