Why does it seem like the rules for getting so close to the enemy may be broken?

GSC genestealers are 50 % more points of nid stealers though. You do get cult ambush, but there's a 50/50 chance of that going wrong.

Take a whip and rending claws on the metamorphs. The banner gives reroll 1s and a primus gives them +1 to hit. This is cheaper pointswise loadout than the talon and the whips mean you don't HAVE to fight firs with them if you have a higher priority fight to get done.

If you mind control to force a unit to fight last, can the opponent still use 2 command points and fight first with that unit?

I don't understand the point cost of the heavy close combat weapon...
Basicaly the heavy rock saw cost 1point more than the heavy rock cutter, but this one have the same stat + an amazing special rules ...
Why even put the heavy rock saw in the book ?

I'm quite interested if the upcomming FAQ will clearify if you can bring a AM, GSM and a Tyranid detachment in one army, because of the way brood brothers let you ignore the AM keyword and the rules for matched play specifies that every unit in an army must have one keyword in common. In the case above tyranid is the common keyword and AM is ignored for the choice of the army keyword ...

Actually Mind Control can be pretty bonkers with plasma gun model. Overcharge the Plasma Gun so if you roll a 1 the model is removed or if you hit it has a greater chance to hurt a target of choice. The look on someone's face when you use overcharge to murder their own model...awesome.
