A vast inland sea, the Silver Sea is unusual in Chamon for being so calm and still. Its silvery waters seldom ripple even to a breeze that passes. Its depths are unknown to mortal minds because there is a folk story the locals of the lake tell. If ever the water were to be breached or ripples touch its surface, then the spirit which makes the lake its home would awaken. What that spirit is, none of the villagers could say, for it was too terrible to describe. It is for this reason that the lake is best left undisturbed.
