Pools of stagnant water, contorted trunks, and bizarre bug-eyed amphibians are what most remember from the Mistswamp. That is because the other sights to be seen there often are so complex and twisted that for the sanity of the traveller, their mind must simply erase it. The strange miasma which fills the marsh's basin causes mortals to see the full spectacle of the realm of Ulgu, its subtlety laid bare. Most avert their gaze and their minds to keep their sanity.

There are those who bottle the swamp waters and try to replicate the effect of it in other battles. To do so is dangerous as it can drive any insane, but still, there are fools who will try anything to get an advantage in the never-ending wars of the mortal realms.


Rules

Mystifying Miasma — All units have -1 to their bravery characteristic, and -1 to hit rolls using ranged weapons. Daughters of Khaine and Slaanesh units ignore this rule.


Saturated by Shadow Magic {b} Whoever controls this territory can nominate d3 friendly units to be saturated in shadow magic. Any enemy units within 6" of any of these units have a -1 to their Bravery characteristic and -1 to hit rolls using ranged weapons.
