The lava bubbles, the skulls smolder, and the battle begins as Skari unleashes the Alien Hives with a monstrous Burrower tunneling straight out of nightmares. Accompanied by his elite swarm of Hive Warriors, Snatcher Lord, and a very enthusiastic mortar beast, Skari brings the hive's finest to the field. On the other side, Josh steps up with the Exalted Demons of War, determined to out-elite the elite and bring fiery wrath with not one but two Ascended Harbingers, backed by Blood Warriors and the ever-faithful tri-headed hounds.

Advanced actions, psychic shenanigans, and aggressively sarcastic spores keep things unpredictable. There's sneaky synapse maneuvering, charging demons with more whips than a D-list Indiana Jones reboot, and of course, a dramatic ambush entrance that may or may not involve eating entire squads in one go. Expect the unexpected, including some highly questionable dice rolls and a suspiciously smug snatcher lord.
