Now Hiring - 3D Printing Assistant (Late Shift)

Matthew here from MiniWarGaming.com.  I'm looking for a temporary (possibly permanent eventually) part-time / full-time 3D printing assistant to help keep the 3D printers going late into the evening.

Compensation is $19 / hour.  Start date is ASAP.

Duties will include, but are certainly not limited to:

  • Helping manage a large amount of FDM and resin 3d printing, both of miniatures and terrain
  • Regular tidying of filming studios, the 3d printing room, and the terrain and miniature storage areas throughout the building
  • Setting up shelves, unpacking shipments, and other day to day tasks as needed
  • Packing and shipping orders from the MiniWarGaming Forge

Skills needed:

  • The ability to lift things without complaining too much
  • The ability to be given lots of random tasks, again, without complaining too much

That's about it.  All the rest can be taught.  Of course if you already have skills related to anything described here, that is a bonus.

We are looking for someone to work late shifts so that the 3D printers can run longer.  These shifts will probably be from 6pm to 12am, and rotating on Saturdays (9am to 5pm or something similar).  This might be slightly flexible, which will be discussed in your job interview.

If you are interested, please send me an "interesting" email telling me why you'd like this job, and why you'd be a great fit, and throw in a resume if you dare.  You can email me at matthew@miniwargaming.com.

Emails without any context or without an interesting story to tell will be ignored and deleted.

Happy wargaming!

-Matthew

P.S.  We can only hire people who can currently legally work in Canada.
