Wow !!
I never thougth that it could be done so easy ! :O
Hey miniwargaming,
What kind of glue did you use for this terrain?
Just normal white PVA glue.
what type of paint is it
on sand
Lol, you got lazy! “You could just dump the sand on!”
Too right though. I had a small go at this and it’s so boring… Good result though.
Hey, does it have to look like sand, or could you maybe make it look like grass easily.
why not yust skip the sand and add flock?
nevermind…
thats awesome and easy…lol
The ONLY problem with doing this kind of table is NOT the construction.. (I’ve built a couple).. The problem is that the finished project weighs a TON!!
Sand on the board.. the paint and glue (on a 4X6 or 4X8 is a LOT of real estate) add up!
Easy to make look good too.. I have found that taking the MONSTER brush he used and ‘Drybrushing’ the corresponding color adds a LOT of ‘dimension’ to the table as well.. (Yellow for Green Grass, Tan for Brown earth, Black for scorched earth etc..)
Hope that helps a bit!
