Here’s a quick video that shows a basic idea to base your Warhammer 40k Tyranid Carnifex. As per request someone wanted some more tyranid “stuff”, so here it is. Keep in mind this is a newbie video. We were all once newbies at one point or another.
Making these bases are fun. They require a minimal amount of time and they’re easy to make. Try a few variations of this or even something different completely. If this video does nothing more than give you a few new ideas then so be it. We’re happy if you’re just instilled with new ideas on any Warhammer related project.
I once looked at a storage shed and got inspired to attach rusted pipes running along side my space marine bunker. I used straws for them and painted them using a rust effect technique. When I was driving I pulled over and pulled out some weeds from the ditch at the side of the road. I then proceeded to use them in flocking my barricades.
I went slightly off topic there but my point was you can grab ideas from all sorts of places. Even if you’ve seen the idea before, you may be inspired to start, continue, or finish a project you have had, have or will have (breath). Okay, enough of this ranting and on with the video.Enjoy !

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackThanks for all your videos - very inspirational.
Could you place you url at the bottom of the video; as some things are obscured? There may be a reason you cannot, but if you could it would be helpful.
Either way - thanks again.
All the best, Richard
