Hey War Gamers. This is a tutorial on how to assemble your Warhammer 40k Chaos Terminators. Sit back, relax and enjoy the chaos.
Tools List
-clippers
-plastic glue

Step 1 Read through assembly booklet and codex.
It’s best if you check the booklet which comes with your chaos terminators before assembly. You’ll see all the pieces you’ll put together beforehand. Also, check the codex to see which weapons you’re able to equip them with. Believe me, it’s a lot easier that way.
Step 2 Glue torso
Step 3 Glue torso to legs
You may choose to turn the torso so it’s facing to the left or to the right. This gives variety to your miniatures.
Step 4 Glue head
Choose from the choices of heads that come with the assembly package.
Step 5 Glue the Arms
Here are some of the possible weapons you can attach. Twin-linked bolter, Reaper autocannon, Heavy flamer or a combi weapon.
Now for the power weapons.
Step 6 Glue battle trophies
These are truly the spoils of war. Glue them on top of the torso.
Step 7 Glue shoulder pads
These come with one side per model having a unique design.
Simply glue the Terminator to the base.

To be honest, I was looking for a little more from the assembly guide.
Things like…
Trimming flash from those power weapon cords and how to reach the tough places.
Thinking a ahead and matching your shoulder pads to certain guys in your squad to help designate rank and such.
Watching how you mount the arms so the flanges on the actual shoulder pads don’t crowd the trophy spikes.
How to clean the mold lines off the somewhat delicate trophy racks.
The list goes on, I just finished assembling 25 of these guys and was excited to see this guide in hopes that it might have some insight or a trick or two when it comes to building my next box of them.
I don’t remember there being any lightning claws in any of the boxes I bought either, a small note as to where those came from (in your examples of finished terminators) might help those of us looking to build that particular model.
Very well put. All those nuances are great examples of things we can possibly run into when assembling these particular models. I geared these series of chaos figures towards people who are brand new to the hobby.
I found that putting too much info in the article made it harder to understand. Although, a more detailed version would be appropriate for advanced players. Those are yet to come.
