Love these fantasy battle reports, I understand how fantasy could be unpopular where you live but if ever opportunity arises; I would love to see you make some more.

@The-Lawn-Chair: I'm not sure you know what 'over-powered' means.

I would love to see more of those fantasy battlereports.

Small correction though, in 8th you only take terrortests if the terror causing unit charges you not the other way round.

Anyways, keep up the awesome work. Get some fantasy games on the table!

@Estarrol: Actually, Impact Hits do go before the Elves, because Impact Hits are done before anything else in the close combat phase, including Challenges and attacks of any other kind the Rulebook states.

In addition to that as pointed out, the Wizard should have taken a Miscast from his Double 6 roll during Turn 2, Knights should have also taken Dangerous Terrain again for running through a forest.

Matt... I think you got cheated. He had one wizard. And he used Okkam's mindrazor (lore of shadow) and purple sun of xerus (lore of death).

You don't know an overpowerd spell until you get hit by vampire counts "winds of undeath"

Hey, Well as a guy who knows the ropes i will do some explaining.....

The high-elves army list is very very illegal, considering that he doesnt have enough core units, and pretty much his entire army is tricked out on specials and Rare types. the High Elf also made some mistakes too,

The high elf "Swordmen" were actually White Lions with Axes....unless he proxy them as Swordmasters, and his knights were Dragon Princes,

High Elves with their ASF rules, are able to attack any units before they strike, this applies to Chariot impact hits, and this negates Great weapons,

the High Elves, can Drain Magic as a free spell, and have +1 to dispell, the dragon princes would have needed to make a dangerous terrian check while fleeing.....aside from that make sure you are using legal lists....and please matt do us a favor, if you arent interested dont force yourself, it makes it painful for us to watch.....

I have to wonder if Matt would get more enjoyment from WHFB if he took the time to really ingest the rules and "trick out" his army, particularly when it comes to magic. As much as I enjoy MWG's battle reports, their Fantasy ones are downright painful to watch, mostly because the audience can really tell when Matt isn't interested. He knows 40k--and the tyranids in particular--front and back, whereas he still seems to be stumbling over the basic rules for WHFB (I certainly can't claim to be an expert, either, but I'm not making batreps). I know he has said that he's still trying to decide whether he's interested in WHFB because he doesn't like the mechanics, but it seems as though he's already made up his mind. Shame...

Has anyone noticed that whenever Matt loses, he just quits? And why is it that he never takes magic, some might have saved him in the beginning

When you charge terror you don't have to test, only if you get charged by something with terror...
