Tyranids in Warhammer 40k 6th Edition

Please like and subscribe if you would like to hear more ramblings, reviews, opinions, and battle reports in the future.

Here I talk about Tyranids in the present state of Warhammer 40k and some of the units I think have become more important to a successful army list. These opinions are targeted at people who are looking at getting into the game, starting a Tyranid army or are looking for some other opinions on the Tyranid army list.

I am a commission painter and I do miniatures from all sorts of games and genres, check out he links below to see what I'm working on, follow my progress, ask me questions, or commission your own minis.

@Xephen: Thank you. I was shooting just for a video that would help people like my friend, who was having troubles reworking his Nid list. I don't play them myself so I don't know all their strengths and weaknesses in 6th edition.

I extremely appreciate advice and opinions on Tyranids and lists from other people, especially those that know them far better than I do.

shrikes aren't all that great (they get up in your opponents face but get insta-killed way to easily. Not a great combonation). Doom of Malan'tai in a spore pod is awesome (and severely overpowered for the price).
The Swarmlord beats a normal Tyrant hands down, though he is a bit pricey. and yes, tyrant guard got a huge boost.

Oh, and don't forget the Hive Guard. Two 24" range strength 8 AP4 shots that don't need line of sight (per model, mind you) are absolutely amazing.

But yeah, pretty good video in general.

This is a very serious discussion brought on by a few videos (more than I actually show in the video) being flagged as "not advertiser friendly". This is my attempt to start the discussion about our place on youtube and if it's in jeopardy.

Here is some music and a sped up version of what I was doing to this dark angel. Since I'm just testing stuff out there won't be any instruction this time. Just something to watch. Enjoy.
