@Epic-Duck-Studios: Thank you for the help, now I gotta figure out your basing compound =p

@WillyBRags: I hate to plug other sites here, but:

In the US:
coolminiornot.com
usshop.thearmypainter.com
thewarstore.com

In Canada:
thewarstore.com (must pick UPS as shipping method, and will be stuck paying a customs fee)

If your local, non-GW-owned hobby store doesn't carry this product line yet, ask them to! Don't be afraid to ask if they can order it in, even if they don't stock it on their shelves.

WillyBRags (Over a year ago): - delete
How would you get ahold of the army green spray paint, since it can't be shipped?

Epic-Duck-Studios (Over a year ago): - delete
@BloodOfChaos: No problem! It's the same Reaper Pale Green I painted the skin with before the wash - Devlan Mud tones it down enough that you can highlight back up with the same colour.

BloodOfChaos (Over a year ago): - delete
Hey Mike I bet your probably sick of answering questions on these awesome videos but i was just wondering towards the end you highlight the lip and arm and fingers but it doesnt say what green >.< Im assuming its a reaper but just wondering which specific?

Epic-Duck-Studios (Over a year ago): - delete
@heimmaniac: That depends what you mean by wash If your models are resin or metal, you should wash them with hot soapy water before you prime them, but this isn't necessary with plastic models. If you mean "Should I use a Wash to detail them", the answer is almost always yes. If you think the Citadel washes are too dark, use a lighter one like Gryphonne Sepia, or thin it down the water.

Which brush to use is a complete tutorial on its own, so I won't get into that here.. so I'll just say, get what you're comfortable using. There's no point getting a 20/0 Liner if you're just getting the hang of basecoating and washing.

@Epic-Duck-Studios

And, should i wash my Modells? As i said, i play Orks. Bcs my Model is too friendly! And Orks should be ugly and gloomy.

And if its usefull, which brush should i takeĀ“?

heimmaniac (Over a year ago): - delete
kk Thx!^^ Btw:Great Painting job!

Epic-Duck-Studios (Over a year ago): - delete
@heimmaniac: I'd go with Calthan Brown if you want to paint them quickly - being a Foundation paint, it'll cover in a single coat, where Scorched Brown might take a few to get full coverage.

heimmaniac (Over a year ago): - delete
@ Epic-Duck Studios

i must paint the pants and the leather.

Epic-Duck-Studios (Over a year ago): - delete
@consecrated2718: Combining washes like that can actually work in your favour if it's done right. Try it out on one Ork Boy and see if you like the look. You may also want to wash everything *but* the skin.

consecrated2718 (Over a year ago): - delete
So mike, is it bad to wash the body thraka green and then rewash again with Devlan? I've been doing most my army using thraka until I watched this vid, and I really like the ruggedness of your model

Epic-Duck-Studios (Over a year ago): - delete
@heimmaniac: Which paint do you need? They're two different colours, and I have no idea what you're using them with, so I really can't answer the question for you.

heimmaniac (Over a year ago): - delete
Omg lol i mean scorched brown or CALTHAN Brwon not

heimmaniac (Over a year ago): - delete
Hey Epic-Duck Studios, which brown should i take? Scorched Brown or bvurbvrvq brown

PS Ive painted with bouth, Citadel Color and Foundation. I have 2 Foundation, Mechrite red and Orkhide shade! So which one should i buy citadel color or citadel foundation. i mean they are bouth brown
