Holy shi-! Dave, what the heck man, that's a huge army of Cryx awesomeness! No WH40K until you've learned how to play WM and posted one Batrep. No buts! Go Go!

@Dave: I don't know of you remember me but I am the tall guy that came in the store while you were filming a couple times by the name of Joel. I am glad to see you finally got your Cryx going! I play Cryx and Legion so if you ever want a practice game or some Cryx help, let me know. I'll swing by the club.

@Navcom3: Mortenebra doesn't run any troops usually. All jacks with a couple warwitch sirens. Possibly necrotechs to repair but not necessary. Focus on jacks for her.

thinking of starting to collect wh/h also, but cant deside between retribution or legion.

stickyworm (Over a year ago): - delete
Hmm, I thought you were more of a Skorne Person, but Cryx it is. Look forward to hearing your experiences with the undead pirate horde

I brought the cryx battle group at Salute this year and the warcaster Mortenbra but I have no idea what troops I should get any ideas?

raydash (Over a year ago): - delete
I knew it! I read Cryx all over Dave's face... Go get them, Dave!

luish88 (Over a year ago): - delete
You mean like killing super models?

You evil, evil man...

I like your style.

EpickBeardMan (Over a year ago): - delete
I looked on the website and identified 3 just from the pictures. YOU CAN DO THIS DAVE! lol Can't wait to see them in action

flindo (Over a year ago): - delete
I collect Troll bloods, I would love to play this game more but unfortunately I am the only one in my town who absolutely adores this game.

Frozt (Over a year ago): - delete
Dave, I have a -strong- sense you are set for playing Cryx. considering what is shown I'll take a shot in the dark and say you are close to around 100 points worth of models (average game ranging from 15-35)

Ricer (Over a year ago): - delete
Your army looks HORRIFICALLY AWESOME!!! I don't know anything about Cryx, but good luck. (I play Cygnar)

Tzollo25 (Over a year ago): - delete
Looking forward to the awesomeness! I just started Warmachine myself, collecting Menoth and Cygnar. About 40-50 points so far on each side. Good luck Dave!

FotoGuy (Over a year ago): - delete
Ohhh, machinewraiths, very neat. They let you possess other warjacks =D

Shizumeru (Over a year ago): - delete
Huh, and here I was starting to think that you didn't like Warmachine...

Rukus (Over a year ago): - delete
I'm a Cryx player as well. At the moment I'm sitting probably close to what you have at just over 200 pts. Bane Thralls will devour armor and pretty much anything in their path, Bane Lord Tartarus will make new Banes and curse their enemies to make them even more of a threat. Thresher with Tartarus is awsome, he is a one man wrecking ball. If you like a little orc style pick up General Slaughterborn, he has the ability to walk through an entire infantry unit in one turn with one of his abilities. Again welcome to the dark side

When i discovered miniwargaming back in the day i loved watching the warhammer 40k vids because i was always a big fan. But i collected Warmachine myself. Its fun to see you guys planning on playing it more in the future. (sadly Cryx is my least favo faction)

Txzen (Over a year ago): - delete
They look like Dark Eldar Chaos Tomb Kings.
Lead by Necron or Demonettes.

What was that giant warjack?

shadowace1124 (Over a year ago): - delete

Maverick452 (Over a year ago): - delete
I'm collecting Retribution of Scyrah! We will clash again Dave!

also, will have to agree with Reddragon924. Get your wargaming hands on some mechanithralls and a necrosurgeon, you will soon realize why...

Some response from a Cryx veteran, the first guy you took a close up of is a skarlock, the single best solo in the cryx army if you use any spellcaster (and pretty much every caster you have would benefit from a skarlock thrall).
Some tips for casters in relatable terms.
Deneghra: Tszeench, magic heavy but fragile need pawns to take damage for her.
Skarre (the girl with horns, behind deneghra): Khorne, get into close combat, damage yourslef to do extra damage, kill everythig.
these are the two that i would reccomend for you to start out with, they are easy to lern the game with. Deneghra would however be the better choice since you have most units that she will need.
BTW. The zombie pirates you picked out are really nasty with the Cryx caster Terminus you should check him out in the Forces book, (the pirates are called Revenent crew of the Atramentous) anyway, great to se antother warmachine player, and a cryx one at that. I wish you well in your gaming!

023scottads (Over a year ago): - delete
awesome nice army.

RedDragon924 (Over a year ago): - delete
Dave, we always heard about this army, but now we have seen it, and it is marvelous!

Definitly a good choice to buy are some Satyxis Raiders, and Malice, one of the character jacks in the Wrath book. Also, Mechanithralls, lots and lots of mechanithralls.

warchirf (Over a year ago): - delete
impressive i play khador, and another regular at my lgs plays cryx. cryx have many...MANY dirty tricks lol. and since khador is all about axes and faces, cryx cause some trouble lol.
