@crusader-cliff, Who paints their dark angels like Ultramarines?

@flyingsquirrels: Read the FAQ, the same one that gives DW Stormshield 3+ and make Cyclones and Typhoons Heavy 2.

wait is he using dark angel rules or not? matt said that he got feel no pain from his apothacary and the DA one doesnt give you feel no pain

SpectreSenence (Over a year ago): - delete
Matt you really need to go with at least 2 Tyrant Guard with your Swarmlord. The effect to keep it alive is so worth it. If the 2 tyrant guard are in cover you would be receiving the defence of the cover and getting Feel No Pain from Tervigon would allow you to carve through the ranks of terminators, please try it!

@Polaris3000:
Demolisher Cannon is just an Ordnance weapon, not Ordnance Barrage.

Dread-Knight (Over a year ago): - delete
@MrVacuum: normal speed Marine vehicles moving at combat speed can fire 1 gun.

Polaris3000 (Over a year ago): - delete
@MrVacuum: Now to add another layer of fun. The demolisher cannon is an ordinance barrage weapon. However, the owning player can choose to fire it as a regular ordinance weapon if the Vindicator moved. If he doesn't move, it can be ordinance barrage.

MrVacuum (Over a year ago): - delete
@Rollbelly: Yep checked it again and you're right. really mistook it for barrage)

LastDawn79 (Over a year ago): - delete
Yes. Im also PRETTY sure you may move 6" and fire the demolisher cannon.

Rollbelly (Over a year ago): - delete
@MrVacuum:
And what exactly is stopping you from moving 6 and shooting the Demolisher Cannon ? Because I cannot find anything that would.
Are you sure you're not thinking of Ordnance Barrage weapons ? Those do have a 'stationary vehicle' requirement.

well. Vindicator moving AND shooting it's ordnance weapon... Well maybe when it'll become a walker in 6th edition. Matt watch your opponents

@FreedomPrime: This deathwing list would stomp youre Spacewolves list

Agreeing with kibatomu, you pretty much have to give the Swarmlord some Tyrant Guard if you want him to survive.

Because he's so slow, he usually needs the extra wounds to make it to the enemy. Their scything Talons and Rending Claws usually add a little extra damage, and if you give them Lash Whips, it makes the Swarmlord's job even easier.

FreedomPrime (Over a year ago): - delete
My space wolves list would take this tyranids army out fairly easily. Heck, my dark eldar would walk all over them.

This deathwing army is lame, not a very good list at all.

kibatomu (Over a year ago): - delete
the Lord needs guards. The guards can get cover and take 2-6 wounds keeping the lord alive longer

Hey Matt, i know what you mean about rolling doubles when spawning termagants. i always bring two tervigons myself. The other week i actually had a game where i brought 2 of them and didn't role doubles the entire game and ended up spawning little over 80 termagants for the entire game! my opponent felt a little cheated of course but it's cool because we're friends.
