The impaler shot jacks with choir behind them. Shouldn't they be like auto-protected from non-magic shooting? New player to Warmachine (Menoth) here - just wanting to clarify the rules. You seem to forget to talk about the choir...

Well produced as usual, but oh my this one is so riddled with rules fault that it is not even funny. Also game wise there is some very fundamental stuff that is being overlooked.

The Krielstone Officer lets you pick an extra effect every time you turn it on. By not looking at his card and picking one each turn, but not doing that it's basically spending 3 points for nothing. Very important in this match up one of those effects makes your guys immune to continuous effects like Fire.

None of the Champions would have been knocked down by the Scourge, Defensive Line prevents KD, but it does only give its's defensive bonus against melee attacks. Also being knocked down doesn't prevent you from being base to base.

The double ones/ double sixes thing was never that way, it always had to be all 1s or 6s to auto miss/hit, but double sixes generally hits regardless of the 3rd dice.

Quirks casters has concealment from Ashen Veil, Cullens Impaler needs 11s to hit not 9s.

The Axer has regenerate, he can spend a point of fury and get a point back in his body.

The Shockwave play to knock down the jacks is cute, but the Mauler has Rage for an animus and Ragnar has Pulverize. Between those two abilities and the Krielstone you can have a fury 5 heavy with 7 P+S 22 attacks as well as a Strength 18 headbutt from the chain attack all with Beatback which will just straight up kill the two jacks.

Hymn of Battle was changed in MK3. It's now just 2 damage not 2 to hit and damage.

Champions are weapon masters all of the damage rolls for them should have had an additional die.

Charging a guy you are just going to kill on your both strength is a waste of fury, just walk in and punch.

The Mauler also has snacking, he should have healed a d3 for each living guy that he killed and ate (but no eating robots).

Cullen also shouldn't have conceeded at the end there. Errants are pretty weak without the boost from charging and an Impaler has set defense so they'd need 7s to hit it on the charge. Add to that the fact that none of the guys who were knocked down the Impaler can actually do anything next turn and the Stone Scribes have a decent chance of killing the Errant Seneschal leaving Quirk with Choir armed with POW 6 pool noodles means that he's actually in a pretty good spot, since to actually do anything Quirk has to get his errants out of the way and then charge in his caster who's going to be hitting at POW 12 vs an ARM 18 unhurt warbeast.

Ragnor himself could has also gone up into combat because he's kind of a beast. He's 14/16 (18 with Krielstone) Steady so he can never be knocked down and thusly always rolls tough and his hammer has Warhead on it, so when you hit something with it, the hammer causes a 4' POW 10 AoE and on a crit KDs everything under the template.%uFEFF (Thanks to psycojester Youtube).

Nice to see more warmahordes batreps! I love the non standard table.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned above is that the Stone scribe elder (krielstone attachment) has three effects that are added to the stone aura.. One of which makes everything within the aura immune to continuous effects..

Oh, and another thing.. Defensive line of the trollkin champions only gives the +2 def against melee attacks. The no knockdown when in b2b was mentioned in the video, but forgotten when it mattered..

Great video. I truly enjoy watching you both play the game without being too severe with the rules. I do however have a few concerns. I noticed that several times Quirk targeted a Trollblood figurine that normally would be blocked by LoS. A figurine cannot see through other figurines of the same size if the target is of the same or smaller base size. Didi something change in MKIII I didn't note? Last comment is that shouldn't Quirk have won towards the end when he removed all of the Trolls from the "ring" and gained another 2 points for dominating, thus a total of 3 and the win?

Cullen, next time you play trolls take a piece of duct tape, write "Tough" on it, and stick it to the table. Or Quirks forehead.

Good game. ^_^

RE: Rolling all ones. This is not new. This was the same rule in Mk2.

Champs can't be knocked down while B2B. Cullen remember your tough rolls and some advice for Cullen.

your feat with ragnor is amazing. Time it when you brace for the alpha. Don't know if you pre-measure much but take advantage of that like crazy. Especially when preparing to intercept an alpha with feat.

That axer had plenty of spots to land. You don't always have to Ty to hit everything just kill enough to make retaliation weak.

Impaler with rage is cool but bouncer with rage and pulverized can cripple heavies.

Rule Error: Quirk! At 20 minutes you ran a light warjack that had been knocked down. About a minute later you moved the other knocked down jack without standing up (maybe you stood up but forgot to tell us on camera?).
