Some rules mistakes:
- Thallax have 3 wounds not two. They are also jetpack infantry not jump.
- Vorax have 3 attacks base not 2.
- Castellax are toughness 7 not 6.
- The knights cannon weapon is not barrage.
- All of your robots can fire three weapons a turn not two. (Its called fire protocols its in the cybernetica cortex rules.

I'm sure i have missed lots of errors. Hope some of these will help in the future. Happy wargaming.

I swear every 30k battle report with heavy support squads makes the same mistake, your sergeant has a missile launcher too, every member has the special weapon choice.

So many rules errors! Vorax are only supposed to move 6", and all monstrous creatures are AP2. The Questoris battlecannon is Ordinance 3, Large blast, meaning you roll 2d6 and scatter for all 3 shots, he treated it as if it had the Barrage rule.%uFEFF

For those who didn't wait to the end... Confirmed it was first game with the army.

But worth going over stomps, D and monstrous creature rules as they are not specific to Mechanicum.

How badly would it have gone if all the right rules were used... Poor Alphas.

Nearly unwatchable. Please go back through the rules more often, so many mistakes. Also, is this the first time the guest has played Mechanicum? Felt like he was borrowing the army.

Yeah its cool to be 5 points over in a friendly game.. but he has many ways to reduce that list by 45 points without breaking it.

So I only watched a bit of this and read the comments and watched a little more.

Castellax are units of 1-5. They have a toughness. They are a support unit within the base mechanicum FoC, unless you take cybernetica army list, then they count as troops. They have a high toughness of 7 and strength of 7.

Thallax have a 12" jump move.

Base points for mechanicum came to being 1710.

But please understand, there's a bunch of pages you have to look through to get all the rules for the army.

producing quality battle reports requires that the players know the rules...i mean, not sounding like a jerk, it is your job ... But at least they both had fun thats all that matters in the end!

I'll not repeat any mistakes already pointed out but something that's has yet to be mentioned is that when the heavy support squad fired at the vorax at 28m 50s they should have been firing snap shots.

They made their leadership test to regroup at the start of the turn but 30k marines do not have "And they Shall Know No Fear" and suffer the normal downsides to regrouping.

My typo guys, it was 41:49 that the regular save was taken on the terminator from the knight

Just a couple of small mistakes/oversights I noticed guys:

41:38 - Aaron forgot to make hammer of wrath attacks against the terminators from the imperial knight

41:39 - Quirk when the imperial knight attacked your terminators, Aaron scored 2 wounds one was a 6 (D) hit, which you removed. You then took a regular save on the other attack, this should have been an invulnerable save as the knight ignores the terminators armour, as the knight is AP2

Other than that, enjoyed the battle report, great stuff guys keep up the good work

So sorry quirk but looks like your gonna feature in rules you got wrong again this week

Monstrous creatures cause fear and also have hammer of wrath both of these were missed at around the 14 minute mark when the marines were charged.

As stated before being monstrous creatures they are ap2 in combat.

The knight Paladins battle cannon is 2 shot not 3, it's also organic not barrarge, this is also the case for the other heavy support choice and you should have been removing the closest models not from under the template at 12.50

At approximately 12 minutes your rhino should have had a cover save without a doubt, I think you need to use the models eye view a bit more

In turn 1 your rhino on the left flank should have had a better cover save, ruins (4+) with hull down (3 ) and night fighting (2 ) with the minus 2 from the gun it should have been 4 . I know you made it with a 6 but thought I it mite help stick if it was pointed out

Again sorry dude 40k ( and 30k) is so bloated with rules it makes keeping track of everything a full time job
