@Danny13: i agree with you but they can get out of the way better but i still believe that the reg skinks are better. if used right they still will easily can get out of the way of enemy units but i think the regular ones are better for the points 5pts to 8pts/7pts is a big difference for a skink unit as well i can use my 50 point unit to charge block protecting my more valuable sarus units. it might be just cause i play my army different from you but in my opinion reg skinks are better not saying the skirmisher ones are bad not saying that just saying that there is better for what they do and jobs are for. as well chameleon skinks do what the skirmisher skinks but way better yea u pay 12 points per guy but there in my opinion way better. but take what u will i dont expect to change your mind on it as well i have been playing lizards for about 9 years now maybe longer not to sure ever since the codex befor the recent one came out and i like to think me and my group play competitively

In really like this terrain and armies!

@Azeebo: His kroxigors are immune, im sure they are monstrous infantry, like trolls/ogres. Not sure what his slan counts as tho, so unsure if it is or not. its on monstrous infantry base.

I know I probably spelled kroxigors wrong

YAY! LIZARDMEN!!!!!!
Matt, now you only have to start Beastmen as well and you will have covered my Fantasy Armies.
I actually have trouble to play Lizardmen as a strong army in 8th.

In my gaming area mixed Skink-Kroxigors are seen as rather weak. If you play them, you should get bigger units, and don't forget that by the errata the Special Rule of the Kroxigors is ignored as they can attack in the 2nd rank anyway, but this way they cannot be attacked. So take enough Skinks as a buffer so your Kroxigors can do some dmg. Use these mixed units against cavalry, monsters and the like, not against big infantry units.

And Skinks only have poisson on ranged attacks, not in close combat. (That would be awesome though.)

Get some Stegadons and use Salamanders instead of the Razordons. The Salamanders are so good!
I usually play 2 units of chameleons, you should try them. In general, with Lizardmen you can play some awesome skirmisher armies and bring madness to your enemy!

Nothing in matts army is immune to killing blow. Heck, even his razordons can be killing blowed since they are Warbeasts. Any infantry, beasts and cavalry can be Killing Blowed, anything MONSTROUS is immune.

Tallbarr (Over a year ago): - delete
Oh wait, I just remember that is actually is. Nvm

NOOOOOOO!!!
Break-test aren't Leadership tests, panic-tests are.

Also, Loremaster is amazing Matt.

@shifty33: just so u know skinks as skirmishers are 10 times more likly to be out of line of sight saying there useless is an outrage not sure if ur a very expierenced lizardmen player but u should deffinatly try skirmishers with javlins its way better u just need to know how to deploy and move them well

General-Cross (Over a year ago): - delete
Yay Lizardmen!

Dr.Suggs (Over a year ago): - delete
The Lizardmen and terrain both look great.

shifty33 (Over a year ago): - delete

shifty33 (Over a year ago): - delete
i agree drop the razordons. also i would drop the unit of 20 skinks skirmishers i would rather find 10 points and take 3 units of 10 regular skinks, for 3 reasons one they have shields two there cheaper and three they have javs and in my opinion are better then blow pipes since the wrost you will even need to hit is a 6 unless your shooting into terrain at skirmishers so ou will almost always have the poison rule were as if u use blow pipes you need to get in close and still not them not be be in terrain or even skirmishers then u need 7s to hit so poison dosent work . and giving the skirish skinks jav is also useless since there 7 points were as u can take just reg ones for 5 thats just my opinion take it if you will

Wow, Matt's playing Lizardmen. I play them also. I have to agree with Superkev, units of 10 skink skirmishers are better and also Salamander are really a much better option (especially against Toughness 3 dark elves). I have 3 Salamanders and when I play against High Elves they can easily shoot a large block of high elves spearmen down.

crispy86 (Over a year ago): - delete
Man those Lizardmen look awesome, would like to know what colours you used

Superkev (Over a year ago): - delete
Just some tips from a fellow Lizardmen player to Matt, for future games:
-big units of 20 Skink Skirmishers still die easily when theyre charged. You're better off taking 2 units of 10- they are much more flexible that way.
-Skink-Krox units rely on numbers more than anything else.
-Razordons arent nearly as good as Salamanders, which do more damage and cause auto-panic, and can actually flee from charges. Seriously consider using Salamanders next time.

Time Warp - definitely. Buff your Saurus in the first round and march them 16 inches. Closing the gap is key with Lizards. Then Speed of Light for the win.

Finplayer123 (Over a year ago): - delete
Matt, how did you come to choose lizardmen?

did their strong magic or great looks of the models appeal to you?
