Dang man, I guess you weren't joking when you said you were going to get started on a titan. (heads up I was the guy with all the tanks next to you.) Can't wait to see some progress.

Good work - make 4 of them!

This year (and the first 3 months next year) I am going to armour the Emperor titans so they have the same level of detail as the Warlords. Then I will be painting them to a high level in preparation for Apocalypti-con next year.

What are your plans for bulking out your Titans? Foam core? Insulation foam? Spray foam? Cardboard (NOOO!) Looking forward to the pics.

If I can help in any way please PM me

For bulking it out I'm going to be getting foam board to the width of the chest and layering it on the spine then make the chest and back touch the spine foam for extra support alot of the chest will be hollow with support , thanks i will be pming you for some assistance later, I might also make a thunderhawk, I wool be using your idea of using kids craft foam to cover the foam board, also how thick is the chest and pelvic area from front to back

The sheets of Craft Foam can be really useful too, especially if you have more organic curves.

I used it on my Dark Eldar titan to bulk out the torso, and even to make the rounded shoulder pauldrons. Then I used a small can of polyurethane from local hardware store to seal the foam before priming it. I was very happy with how well it turned out and how easy it was to use. The big thing you have to watch for, is until you seal it, you can easily dent the foam so becareful what you put it on, or rest near it.

I'm wondering, cause I too am planning to build my scratch built Chaos Titans, what are those plastic pieces you are using as the joints, and pelvis for your Titan. Looks good so far. Can't wait for the finished product.

I know the feeling. Going to school full time, not alot of time for my hobbies. I wish you good luck, and again, can't wait to see the finished product.
