Nope, no iron man or solid snake miniature in here, but 2 different guys.
A wyrd miniatures Ice Golem & Rattler painted with (almost) only metallics.
Not my best, but good for 2 weeks of work:)
About... 10 hours of painting including the base?

Are you saying he is truly a fanatic for spending that much time painting those?

Or because he was able to get such a great look by only spending 10 hours on it?

Most people who paint their mini's to such a high quality will spend 10, 20, 30+ hours on a model.

I wish I had the patients to spend that much time on my models... but I don't... so I developed a scheme that I was happy with (no nearly the same quality as something like this) and was able to do it fairly quickly.

Thanks guys. maybe sounds odd to you, but I thought it was quite fast.. Its mainly washing and quick blending. I thought 10 hours wasn't much, I have spend 40+ hours on my eldar falcon (sci-fi vehicle category, where you can see it). You could say I'm a slow painter I guess ^^

I'm liking the OSL. I'm hoping that is OSL, because it looks great. Iron thing looks a little weakly posed, but the dramatic posture of the snake makes up for that. Really good work, and if I don't get an entry in on time, this is the piece I'll be backing to win.

I wish I had patients to experiment on as well.... they could paint themselves with new colour schemes while I was gone and that would save tons of time....
