Standard Game Deployment Zone?

Post by Kolonel Kraig » Sat May 04, 2013 3:18 am

I have been scrubbing the rules buy cannot find the deployment procedure for a non scenario game:

1) What is the deployment zone?
2) I assume high dice roll goes first or does that allow you to chose?
3)I take it who deploys first takes first turn?
4) Is there a set number of turns like 40K?

THX for the help!

1) 10"
"All models that don’t have the Recon special rule are then deployed within 10” of the owning players’ board edge." p. 49

2)The higher roll allow you to choose who goes first
"To determine the turn order, each player rolls a d6, rerolling ties. The player with the highest roll determines who goes first." p. 49

3)Yes, whoever deploys first takes the first turn. There is no roll to steal initiative.
"The player who goes first chooses which table edge he will deploy on." p. 49

4)All of the scenarios have 6 turns. Same as 40k
"This scenario lasts for 6 turns, or until there are no more models on the table." p. 51, 52, 53, &54
