That explains the situation actually!
yah, got tired of the over-competitive nature of it, went to WarmaHordes a year ago and think it to be much more balanced, so there is no real angry players because most of them know there is no real OP thing, only specific tactics.

It's only 3 days until the DM entry has to be finished and I'm kinda getting done with my Ravager. The Ravager itself is done expect maybe some freehands on the flag/shell, but I didn't came up with a symbol for my army (someone of you got an idea maybe? ) and something I will show you in the end of this post that I need to redo.
The "controls" are glowing a bit. Not to much, but it looks better in real life than the picture might show.
So far I'm kinda fine with my skills and what I have created there.
Now to the stuff that went pretty darn bad...
I imagined that while in use, the engines should be really hot, shouldn't they? Hot metal usually discolors from "metalish" to red, orange, yellow and than white. I tried to archive that using a tutorial I found that shows how to paint magma. I messed it up. I guess I will paint it in bronze again. It looks terrible on the pictures and even more terrible IRL. What do you think ladies 'n gentlemen?

The ravager looks decent bud. I like the metallic details over the blue. The whole thing could use some shading though. Maybe hit those panel lines with some wash to darken them.
I think whats holding you back on the engine effect is the bronze base coat. Maybe if they were based black or dark gray it would come out better.

Huuuuu... I thought I would be on side two at very least by now.
*dust's of this place*
Oh I really missed this Thread, but sadly a lot of stuff happened in the past, that kept me busy. Family stuff that should happen to no one. :X But it's the past and I want to celebrate the (hopefully) comeback of this thread with some pictures of my (finally) finished Wyches!
More pictures of them on my imgur album (at the bottom)
Yes, the base and their feet is pretty much covered in blood. Yes, this is what i wanted to archive and I'm really happy with it.
I'm really glad on how they turned out, the only thing that bothered me was how long I needed. I realized a lot of things that I can improve and got new ideas on what to do with the miniatures that will sit on my painting table in the future.
By the way, these guys will be my next work:
I firstly wanted to use them as Haemonculi for my DE Army, but I made some major changes on my lists due to 6th edition, which won't involve 3 Haemos anymore. But I still love the models and so they will be next!
