It shouldn't be a burnout, since I still feel good while painting!
It's just that I don't know what to do with the armor, even with the really helpful advices from blue. I want to get some new idea's, which is why I called them done for now and went for my Wyches.
They will get a nearly complete /complete base coat today! Hopefully...

maybe you just need an accent color? or different colors on some other details
for example painting those studs on the legs ? or i dont know but i know what you mean about something just keeping you from finishing and you just dont know what x.x

Haha you hit the right spot. I was thinking about which colors would do well, couldn't really decide and thought it would be the best to stop for now, before I get a burnout on these guys.
I might finish them after my Wyches are down, since I can't finish my goal of the whole Battleforce in a month (the 18 days that were left) anyway. But I'm not sad about it, looking back at my 15 days of painting, I feel like I already improved by a lot! I'm looking forward to get better, better and even better!
Well let's take a look on what I finished today. Oh gentlemen, I didn't thought my Wyches would be that hard, but satisfying to paint!
First of all, a fully base coated male one!
So far he looks a bit... blue. That should change after I get some bronze on him.
Thinking I get everyone base coated was a huge mistake on my part. At least I got all missing cloth parts, and all weapons!

right...the whole half born thing...but...anyway enough of Dark Eldar reproductive habits
i cant wait till you have all these guys painted up
and no matter how i look at it wyche heads look very man-ish or at least the way the GW guys have them painted up i really dont like the two buns one o. o...do you have one of those heads? did you use it o. o

Of course I did!
I really like the head. Gonna use the one I get in my next battleforce for a Archon conversion some day. Why would I use such a silly head for something serious as an Archon? Well take a look at my Avatar, look back at the head, I gonna make it happen.
On the other hand I could hire a sculptor to create me this from your 525 bucks. These people want serious money, 14$++ each mm.

wow paint really does make a difference it deffinetly doesnt look as manly as GW's paint job....but your avatar is beautiful and i hope you manage to pull it off :3
and that would make an awesome mini...id buy myself one or two...maybe 5...with slight conversions to poses and such but anyway..:3

Short update for today, had sadly less time than I thought. They all got their hair coated and three of them got a first armor base coat. Still need to do the fine parts near clothes/the face.
I'm really sleepy and have to get up early tomorrow, so that's it for today!
