Hello everyone,

I've just started building my Space Marine army. I'm trying to find a good set-up for my list. My first question is, when building my army list what type of troop choices can I take? For example, 1HQ, 4 troops, and 3 elites. Could I change this to 2HQ, 2 troops, and 3 elites? or something along the same lines.

You can put in whatever you want, as long as your not going over limits (example, 4 HQ's (Unless your SW) 10 troops, etc)

You have to take 1 HQ and 2 Troops though.

Force Organization is written in the codex and rule book.
Summed up its:

1-2 HQ
2-6 Troops
0-3 Elites
0-3 Fast Attack
0-3 Heavy Support

Thanks guys. I've built some of my army already and I realized I have 3 dreadnoughts already. I know I want to have the Master of the Forge in my army list. This way I can take dreadnoughts as heavy support choices, Which means instead of 3, I could max out at 6. Or use my Elite slots for other Elite class squads.
