Paint is always good, make sure you use a brush,remember water!
Anyway on to seriousness, black primer (spray paint is best) then put some orange and reds into the cracks trying to make them flow together then highlight this with a yellow, then gloss the whole thing for that shiny on fire but supernaturally glossy ^_^, basic but looks awesome.
