fluff the shot whizzed past the squad in the trench. "fire!!!!" was bellowed from across the barren wasteland and the imperial mon'kehs started bombarding with the marooned squad again. "devil fish incoming shas'ui, for the greater good" was heard through the head relay fitted into khaz'nihs helmet. Another volley came through and a firewarrior fell. Khaz'nih threw a plasma grenade and waited. using the bellowing smoke, the squad ran threw the smoke and shot as they ran. another wave of explosions seared the area where the squad had just been, the devilfish was whizzing near the pick up point but a missile soared past and went straight through the created smoke, barely missing the firewarriors. the missile hurtled towards the devilfish. The squad started to panic, there was yelling and the missile was about to hit the devilfish!... then a huge explosive. Khaz'nih lowered his rifle, bulls eye. The missile had been shot out of the air. The devilfish was largely not affected but the ground around the firewarriors was scorched beyond belief but the devilfish was fine. The squad ran towards the devilfish, living to fight another day
