Hay, I'm jack.
Here is a quick and very cheap way to make lots of metallic bases. You will need: - Any spair GW bases - Protection Pads (to stop chairs scratching floors.) - Super Glue
These are protection pads, you can pick a pack of 60 up for just under $1:
Ok, so you will want to peel the pad off of the paper and then super glue the pad to the GW base. Leave the base to dry and then undercoat the pad. After the paint drys you will then want to dry brush over the top with any metallic GW, reaper or model paint. Once the dry brush layer drys, you can then heigh light the bases and add washes to make the indents stand out. You can even cut cracks into it. Here are a few I have done for my Grey Knights:
Hope you enjoyed this short tutorial, more coming soon. J.Bell

Awesome look, easy and inexpensive too! What's not to love.
How did you do the cuts? What did you use, hobby knife or just scissors? Before or after gluing to the base? Please let me know. I am definately going to base some of my guys on these.

I did it after gluing to the base and used a hobby knife but guess you could do it with scissors off the base.
