They're only bad if you're doing essay's or formal writing (see what I did there?).

I think Dark Eldar and Eldar verse Tyranids would be cool, seeing as there's sort of a story about it in the DE Codex, otherwise the tag team sounds pretty good. My friend's and I do them pretty regularly and the work out pretty well, especially if both players coordinate their list writing (maybe one will spam the AT while the other rocks anti-infantry? Or one goes for ranged fire power while the other is all combat all the time).
