warmachine or 40k (again)

i previusly asked if you were trying to do the rules like warmachine or 40ki and you said you werent leaning twards ether
so now what unit style are you leaning tward warmachine, or 40K?

I'm not Matt but I am pretty sure his previous answer applies. It seems to me that he (and alot of gthe community) want to make it unique in a way that it's not like "hey that is a (insert wargame) clone".

If I had to choose 40k or Warmachine as a close comparison, I would say Warmachine.

However, cover and special positioning of your units for flanking and crossfire are going to play a huge roll in this, so it should create a unique gaming experience.
