hey guys this is my land raider. (inspired by Calgars landraider seen in the codex and in white dwarfs) inspired not replication remember.

ive realy tried to put alot of detail into this heavy vehicle so anywhere i could without overloading it ive detailed with iconography and decoration. if you notice the wall paper like U's in the more receading parts of the tank armour and if u notice it carrys on inside next to the inner side of the doors a little. then theres the extra gold rimming on the outside armour this was created using plasticard and greenstuff. it gives it the extra detail that the seccond company marines. i try to deccorate my tanks true to space marine fashion cause they are used like relics of a company. so as to not overdecorate my tanks i remember not to decorate the main frame except on the doors. there are two purity seals on the sides of the land raider these are both made from greenstuff [/color]and help create the feel i wanted for it + if you can just see the spot light next to the heavy bolters has the phrase "And they shall no no fear"

the roof is detachable so it helps when transporting and taking pitures and viewing the interior. the sldeable doors are all detailed and are able to slide still. the main engine/boiler part of the land raider is the part that im most proud of. it was block painted then hilighted and to create the oily, grimy mess that is present with such like parts of vehicles a series of around 5 semi metalic washes were used to create the build up of colour. on the last picture the part which says "for the emperor" is the detailed back part of the gun port (the twin linked lascannons).

i love this miniture vehicle it shows what spacemarines are all about and i love all the extra little nicknacks that i have included into it.
