That video make me sick...

Ho wait that's not death guard's rot that overdose of Ultramarine !

Why ! again ultramarines please make it stop ! there is plenty of other chapters !
Yeah. It's really shame that they always use Smurfs even if they are being used as poster boys of the 40k. In that sense they are like Batman. Always being used over any other chapter.

That new Mortarion model is really growing on me. At first I was a little put off - I absolutely love the 30k Morty - but aftet seeing all the angles it's going to make a great centrepiece.

That new Typhus though...

Yeah, I like the new Mortarion. What I like the most is that he still look pretty much like the 30k one except with the beetle wings and a few rotten parts. I was fearing they would make him like a big rotten morbidly obese man Great Unclean One style and I wouldn't have been a fan. I agree with you on Typhus though, he looks awkward and with strange proportions. The older one is still my favorite. Some older models are really aging well unlike Abaddon who really needs an update.

I am still not liking that Mortarion based on pictures. Maybe I start liking it after I see it assembled and painted with less bright color scheme in LGS but that's maybe.

I'm very much liking him.

The £85 price tag at my FLGS is hurting a bit though...

Stratagems, Relics, and Warlord traits for Death Guard are out today. And Holy Moly do they ever look powerful.

My two favourites are:
- 1CP to protect an infantry unit from shooting as if it were a character with under 10 wounds. That's pretty awesome and for only 1 cp!

- Relic armour that gives the bearer a 2+ save and a 50% chance to return a mortal wound every time it makes a save.

DON'T TEMPT ME! Haha, I would love for this to be plaspects, but I don't think it is. Craftworld stuff is always solid, smooth, and curvy. This has negative space, and a sort of "spines with webbing" look to it. I can't think of any craftworld model that would match this. If it is Eldar - it's a brand new look. Perhaps a new Phoenix Lord or Aspect?

But more likely it's an AoS model of some sort. That range of minis has TONS of negative space and bits that looks similar to this, especially in the sigmarine and aelf factions :(

I get what you're saying, but I could see a new Fire Dragon sculpt having that kind of motif.

Not really rumour, but an interesting tidbit. I was reading through this month's white dwarf and it says that mortarion's kit allows you to choose which hand he holds each weapon with which "drastically changes his pose". I don't believe bobby g or magnus had variable poses aside from a swappable helmet, right? Perhaps we'll be seeing some more customizable kits for future centerpiece models!

When you see all the other death guards models, it's going in the two defferent direction if you're right. Maybe plague marines will be soon with different poses, but how to have the same amount of details ?

More death guard tidbits today. Nothing too insane.
https://www.warhammer-community.com/201 ... ge-post-2/

Whole army can move and shoot heavy weapons with no penalty, or advance and shoot assault weapons with no penalty. Rapid fire range of 18" instead of half range.

Some neat powers. Effective but nothing that looks too broken.

The citadel paint app is releasing on September 16th, and it will be free.
They are also giving away 5 prize packages of every base, layer, and shade paint in the citadel range. To enter you just have to download the app. Winners will be randomly selected once per say starting on the 18th, ending on the 22nd.
