The terrain looks really good. How did you achieve the rust effect?

Yep the rust is the best! I really like the look! I also find the crates at the bottom to look especially realistic.

Thanks guys! The rust effect is really simple I used two colours to achieve it vallejo game colour beasty brown and vallejo game colour orange fire, with a sponge I applied beasty brown first using a dabbing motion and then repeated this with the orange fire just a little more sparingly until I was happy with how it looked :)

Just a quick update I finished the pipe for the shed so here's a quick pic for you I'm now working on painting my sanctum imperialis so hopefully that will be done soon :)

The sanctum is done well nearly some more weathering to do but that is it.

It looks extremely good! I love the checkerboard design of the tiles inside the building! Also, I love how the lower part is darker while the rest is more shiny. It really looks like a building that is deteriorating because of the weather.

Thanks kovlosky yeah that's what I was going for really and I'll be honest I don't think I'll be doing the checkerboard on the next couple of buildings it's so painstaking lol maybe I will who knows aha just got two basilicas and another sanctum to finish and then I'll nead to buy some more kits I'm going to do another manufactorum I think or maybe some kind of strong point.... Ponders
