After looking through most of the diorama entries so far I realized that most people don't actually understand what a diorama is.

A diorama isn't a miniature on a fancy base, nor is it a few miniatures with some terrain.

Instead of explaining what a diorama is, I want to show you a few pictures of some that will show you what we mean:

I dont know if I would say a diorama isnt a 'miniature with a fancy base'...I'd draw your attention to Bobby Wong's Blood Quest Diorama (which in my opinion is about as good as it gets in miniature painting)...it's basically five or six figures on a fancy base and it's awesome. Just my opinion. I think the catagory should be judge on painting and if the miniatures are presented in away that's telling a story or capturing a moment in time.

Now dont get me wrong taking the time to set and pose miniatures should score major points..again just my opinion.
