I'm looking for anyone who might be interested in playing a big game (75, maybe 100 points) Tomorrow (Thursday), Friday, or sometime next week.

Look no further. My Trolls will gladly devour your army. ;D

But it would have to wait until next week. I'm busy the next two nights.

Do you have enough for 100 points?

If so, maybe we should play a Battle Royale? Double cater game essentially. Each caster has it's own Battlegroup.

Wrote up a 2 caster 100 pointer last night at work. Pick a day, I'll be ready!

I wanna see this go down. When's it happening? I also wouldn't mind trying a 100 point double caster game sometime.

Whoa, how did I not notice this topic?!

This is a nice step forward towards my dream of super-high point games. Count me in for possible matchups! Just have to work out the date.

I'd be down for a big 2 warcaster game at some point two. A word of advise as I've played a couple of these, you will need all day Saturday, an evening might not get it done unless you start right when the store opens. The 2-3 hours it states in the rulebook is kind of a stretch. Unless your opponent runs everything he has right into charge range of all your stuff :)

I'll play you a 75 point game Cam. Gives me yet another opportunity to bring out the Battle Engine.

We're attempting this on Tuesday night.

But in the consideration of time (and more honestly transport space) I'm running a low model count. Well, low for a 100 point game. Essentially I'm sending in waves of beasts to slaughter and be slaughtered.

edit: it's going to be a frenzython!

A glance at the forums, a chance discussion, I could change my mind at any moment. But right now I'm looking at Gunbjorn and Calandra for my two warlock choices.

As I put my beast horde list together, which was easy because I just put every single beast I owned in it (just missing Winter!), I noticed a majority of beasts had ranged attacks. Having played Gunny frequently during the campaign so far, and really enjoying it, he was a natural fit for first choice (Guided Fire for 7 models-whoa!). Knowing I'll also be up against some serious ranged fire power, his feat (cover, immunity to blast damage, steady) will provide every friendly faction model in his control area with some serious fortification as I close ranks. Rock Wall.

My second choice of Calandra was harder to arrive at (eDoomy, so tempting). Again, another amazing friendly faction model feat. But this time a devilishly powerful offensive effect, in that all 1's and 2's from an attack or damage roll may be re-rolled. Also positively benefiting my entire army is one of Jordan's faves Star Crossed (enemy models roll additional attack die, discard highest while in her ctrl). And any turn, any attack or damage roll I flub, I can steal a fury from Calandra to reroll.

Anyways, I'm blabbering, her it is...

Krielstone Bearer and 3 Stone Scribes 3

Janissa Stonetide 3 (c'mon, no way I'm not bringing two Rock Walls at 100 points!)

Oh Calandra, how I hate you and your gypsy tricks! :P I had my whole list set out at the tournament today, but then I got a few other ideas, and which as they tend to do, rapidly mutated my entire list so now I've got like half a dozen ideas floating through my head. I'm kind of leaning towards an eStryker/Kraye combo so I can try and compete a little more on the close combat end of things, but at the same time it's hard for me to resist the opportunity to really play to my strengths and bring out the gun mages and do Sloan/pCain. I'm gonna have to sit down and really figure this out. Those long gunners this afternoon were just the tip of the iceberg!

EDIT:

Okay, I think I've got it hammered out:

Captain Jeremiah Kraye
2 Hunters
Sentinel
Stormclad
Ol' Rowdy
Squire
Commander Coleman Stryker
Grenadier
Lancer
Journeyman Warcaster
>Charger
Arcane Tempest Gunmages w/ UA
>Defender
Captain Arlan Strangeways
Gun Mage Captain Adept
10 Long Gunners w/ UA
Rangers
10 Sword Knights
10 Trencher Infantry w/ UA
