bribery to take emrakul

Post by captkahos » Wed Apr 10, 2013 12:06 am

I only play edh along with my friends and a guy we play with thinks that using bribery to go through a friends deck to steal emrakul and plop on the board will work for the extra turn for him. My question is Emrakul says when he is cast you get a 2nd turn after the current one. My argument is that you cast bribery to steal the card to play onto the field under your control you didn't cast emrakul am I right that he wouldn't get the extra turn? Thanks for the help whoever provides it.

No, the creature has only been cheated into play not cast.

If you ultimated Jace, Architect of Thought where it says you may cast a card from the library then it would trigger.
