Hello to all let me start by saying i am not here to steal customers from miniwargaming, i am actually a huge fan of miniwargaming. However, me and my friends have just recently made a club built on having fun and most of what miniwargaming is based on and has done. We also commission paint and we thought to make it easier for people to instead of sending or calling in you can come in person and meet us. Again not stealing miniwargaming's thunder. But miniwargaming does worldwide shipments and we want to help people with a more local painting company if you will. So Purple Cup Painters is here to offer any deals of assembling and painting miniatures for a modest price. We are located in Pittsburgh Pa, and wish to help those in Pittsburgh with such painting and assembling. If you have any questions just post a comment. - Sincerely Painter Anthony P.S. Happy Wargaming

Wasn't there a group that posted on these forums a few years ago that called themselves Red Counter Painters or something goofy like that.
I'm not saying you "borrowed" your name from Blue Table Painting, but because they are who they are, anybody that has a name that's "colour" "object" Painting, basically looks like a cheap copy.
I'm sure you got your name from something original, but I still feel the obligation to tell you how it looks. I suggest changing it.
Other than that, Welcome?

And that is why Kharn was cut from the original cast of Puttin' on the Ritz.
To Joe: I understand what you are coming from i am also a huge fan of Blue Table Painting however i came up with the name from just the fact when i paint i always used not red cups but purple cups so me and my friends just decided that so when we paint we use purple cups.
Oh and yes we do have a facebook and a website: Purplecupainters.blogspot.com The website is still a major work in progress however the facebook is a nice taste of what we have to offer and if need be i can post something up onto this forum if it may help.

Not bad, but you need to work on your model prep before you paint them... even in your pics I can see some pretty nasty mold lines. I mean, I don't care at all on my own models, but if I am paying somebody to paint them, I don't want to see them.
Also, you need better pics, especially if you are trying to get some online clientele. I am sure there is a guide to taking pictures somewhere on this forum... or how to make a light box or something.

Guys this is our early models when we first started before we thought about mold lines now we worry about them now these are my models but when we do clientel we go all out and pictures again i will admit those are bad because they are with my phone i just wanted to get the point across to people on how the paint job is the modeling is anothering thing that we should show people and i thank u joe for pointing that out
