This one is tuff - I love the detail on Guildy's models, especially around the face...BUT...I also like the color choices of Dez's models - (Purple is my thing)....and both artists basing is well done...Ugh...who to pick???

Both entries are really nice, but I went with Guildenstern on this one. For me it came down to the fact that I liked the sharp color transition on the razorback portion better than the more gradual airbrushy one.

I voted for Guildenstern too. I liked the colours of her punk boars. Besides, her boar on the left of the first picture (with pink mohawk) looked like a bourgeois intellectual and it cracked me up so much, that I was immediately sold on her entry. :D

That said, I really appreciate Dez's attention to the mold/part lines. If I didn't know better, I'd swear those were single-piece minis.

In fact my vote went for Dez because there were no mold lines. When I can't decide which mini to choose because they are of similar paintjob quality, I aim for those little details.

I went with Guildenstern as well. Both entries are extremly well painted so in the end it came down to the bases for me and I for me the treestumps are a lot more fitting.

Great job Guildy, congrats!

Man did my pics come out bad. I actually spent a whole night just researching Hogs. There's some patterns I painted into hides as well as several blended layers of highlights around the face/muzzle. My immediate thought was 'paint the muzzle pink' but upon my studies, most of their snouts are the same color as their hide or black. My bases...that's just hurrying/running out of time. They'll be properly swampy, with some cat tails and tall grass and yucky swamp water.

Fun challenge, thanks again Guildy!
